Tiesto & Ava Max ‘The Motto’ debut in Top 5 Hot Dance / Electronic – Billboard

Tiesto and Ava Max barged in BillboardHot Dance / Electronic Songs multimeter board (dated November 20) at # 4 with “The Motto”. The track won 3.5 million streams in the United States and sold 1,500 downloads in the week ending Nov. 11, according to MRC Data.

This is Tiesto’s sixth top 10 out of 30 total hits, and his highest debut, ahead of “Don’t Be Shy” with Karol G (# 6, in August). This song also reached No.4 in October and currently sits at No.6. Both are just below Tiesto’s sharper tracks: “The Business” (# 2, March) and “Jackie Chan,” with Dzeko and starring Preme and Post Malone (# 3, September 2018). “Red Lights” and “Wasted,” starring Matthew Koma (both # 5 in 2014) round out Tiesto’s other top 10s on Hot Dance / Electronic Songs, which premiered in January 2013.

“Motto,” Max’s third chart and first top 10, debuts simultaneously at No. 5 in sales of dance / electronic songs streaming and dance / digital electronic songs.

Two other titles enter the Hot Dance / Electronic Songs Top 10 for the first time. First off, Acraze sails 12-7 with “Do It to It,” starring Cherish, completing the first trip of the top 10 for each act. The track, whose profile was bolstered by a TikTok dance challenge, wins Streaming Gainer honors for the second week in a row, up 39% to 2.4 million streams in the US, also good for an arc n ° 13 on the Dance / Electronic Streaming Songs chart.

Up 26% to 1,800 downloads, “Do It” ranks fourth in sales of digital dance / electronic songs. Additionally, it skyrockets 9-3 on the Dance / Mix Show Airplay chart.

Further on in Hot Dance / Electronic Songs, Lost Frequencies and Calum Scott each won the first top 10 with “Where Are You Now” (11-10), attracting 2.4 million streams.

Elton John and Dua Lipa triumph on another chart, reaching the top of Dance / Electronic Streaming Songs with “Cold Heart (PNAU Remix)”. First leader of the two acts, the multi-format hit is up 5% to 10.2 million streams.

“Heart” also reigns on Hot Dance / Electronic Songs for a fifth week, as it increases its sales-top weeks Dance / Electronic Digital Song (13) and Dance / Mix Show Airplay (four). The song is ranked 14th on the Billboard Hot 100 All Genres, where it is John’s highest ranking since 1998.

Elsewhere, Audien adds her fourth top 10 on Dance / Mix Show Airplay with “Wish It Was You”, starring Cate Downey, who won her first (19-9). In addition, TELYKast climbed into its second top 10 with “Unbreakable”, with Sam Gray, who won his first (16-10).
