WALTON – Music on the Delaware will be offering a free virtual coffee program from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Sunday, October 3, featuring regional musicians John Kirk and Trish Miller.
The addition to her regular monthly concerts in theater cafes will be accessible via Zoom only at https://us02web.zoom.us/j/89798198300. Zoom access will also be available at www.musiconthedelaware.org.
According to a press release, Kirk and Miller feature upbeat violin tunes, folk songs, and whimsical footwork. They have performed their music in front of a wide range of audiences, from places like Carnegie Hall to gatherings around an outdoor campfire.
Kirk’s sense of humor, lyrical voice, and skills as a violinist and mandolin have earned him great recognition in traditional music circles.
Miller is known for her engorgement and playing the guitar and banjo. Together they call the square dances and teach in folk music and dance programs for over 20 years.
Regular concerts will continue at the Walton Theater on Sunday, October 17, with John Potocnik and Tom White performing Delaware / Otsego County violin tunes, and on November 21, with John Colonna performing original and jazz piano music.
The winter / spring season will feature Bea Summers and Barb Acker on January 16, Randy Miritello on February 20, Patrick Reynolds and Friends on March 20, Don Gilkinson on April 16 and Paul Huh on May 15.
