Future Founders Internship. Michigan’s tech startup and venture capital ecosystems continue to grow at a rapid pace, but the talent within this community is often disproportionate to the diversity found in the state. Approximately 40% of Michigan’s population identifies as a racial or ethnic minority, and half of the population is female. But according to a recent report by the Michigan Venture Capital Association, of the $2.8 billion invested in Michigan startups last year, only 15% of startups backed by Michigan venture capital were led by someone in Michigan. color, 12% were led by women.
Through the collective action and collaboration of leaders in technology, startups and education, we have developed a DEI-focused internship program that will provide both underrepresented students with the opportunity to learn with technology entrepreneurship and equip them to pursue careers in the industry, and enable technology companies to expand or strengthen their DEI efforts and reach new talent.
Future Founder Interns will: Gain hands-on experience working in a Michigan-based startup from May through July/August, Network and build relationships across Michigan’s startup ecosystem, Gain skills, receive mentorship, and create a community with other underrepresented and entrepreneurial-minded students across the state, Earn at least $15/hour

Resident assistant. Transports clients in Dawn Farm vehicles to 12-step meetings, appointments and other facilities. Provides general client supervision, including application of program rules, leading clients in structured activities, and handling emergencies. Support the clinical team by documenting and communicating all relevant client information to clinical staff. Program course. The A2SF Internship Program provides meaningful work experience for students and recent graduates who wish to pursue a career in arts management and live event production. A2SF internships provide a wide range of practical experience, professional development, networking opportunities and research projects for future arts professionals. The Program Intern will gain experience in arts/educational event development by assisting staff in programming, planning and on-site management of the Outdoor Night Retreat Series (Mind/Body Events) and other series and A2SF initiatives. This role will also provide experience in podcast audio production and community partnerships.

DPSS oversees all police and security operations at the University of Michigan and provides a truly integrated approach to safety and security, partnering with the entire University and educating the UM community to ensure together a safe community. Members of our GSS team provide customer relations and security screening functions for Michigan Medicine, and are often the first point of contact for our patients, families, and visitors, and are responsible for facilitating an organized and safe environment for patients, families and visitors, providing service beyond expectation. GSS team members will represent the hospital to all audiences in a way that promotes the concept of patient and family centered care.
