About BTS and their hiatus

Earlier this year, K-Pop group BTS announced that the group would be taking a “hiatus” to focus on their individual careers with a range of solo projects for K-Pop superstars. The announcement was made during BTS’s Festa dinner, which is part of an annual celebration of their founding. The band detailed their tentative plans for solo projects and told fans that they “need some time to take an extended break.”

It is believed that one of the main reasons the band decided to go on hiatus was because Jin had to do his military service. Jin, the oldest member of BTS, is approaching his thirties, and according to the military service law, he must enlist in the army early next year. Other BTS members will have to follow.
