The Cultural Center of the Northeast Zone (NEZCC), Dimapur, in collaboration with the Department of Information and Cultural Affairs of Tripura, will organize Bharat Ko Jaano, a 3-day Chain Yatra festival from December 27 to 29, 2021 in different places in Tripura.
The festival as part of the “National Cultural Exchange Program” will feature folk and tribal dances with the aim of reaching rural and urban areas.
Such events are organized to raise awareness of the rich cultural diversity of the country and promote national integration through culture.
The program will be organized in different locations in Tripura including Udaipur, Jirania and Agartala.
According to the schedule, the inaugural ceremony of the festival will be held at the Rajashri Kala Kshetra in Udaipur from 4 p.m.
The second day program will be held at Agnibina Hall of Jirania from 11:00 am and the 3rd day event will be held at Dr. BR Ambedkar English Model School Community Hall in West Ananda Nagar, Agartala from 12:00 noon.

Troops of folk artists from Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Jharkhand, Manipur, Odhisa and local cultural troupes from Tripura will participate in the festival.
The artists will present their folk dance and musical cultural performance as part of the festival.
Folk dances include Rikhampada & Juju Jaja Dance from Arunachal Pradesh, Bihu Dance from Assam, Seraikela Chhau Dance from Jharkhand, Thang-Ta & Pung Choolam from Manipur and Ghudka Sambalpuri Dance from Odisha.
Folk and tribal music, songs and dances will also be presented by various local cultural troupes.
Gouri Basu, Director, NEZCC and Ratan Biswas, Director, ICA all invited to the festival.
Entrance to the festival is free for all, but wearing a face mask is mandatory for participation in the festival in accordance with COVID19 protocol, Chief Coordinator Suman Majumder said in a press release.
